Electronic gear shifter rolled copper FPC
This electronic gear shifter FPC is applied to position sensing and data acquisition in automotive electronic gear shift mechanisms. Hongyi Precision R&D screened dozens of suppliers and over one hundred material specifications to select an RA copper foil solution optimized for gear shifting conditions: RA rolled copper foil is mandated in dynamic flex zones—elongation ≥15%, copper purity ≥99.9%; electrolytic copper foil is prohibited. RA copper’s dense grain structure delivers superior flex fatigue resistance, enabling reliable operation over millions of gear lever actuations while reducing fatigue-induced cracking and open circuits; conventional copper foil may be selected for static fixed zones to optimize manufacturing cost.
