Electronic Shift-by-Wire FPC

Hongyi Precision’s R&D team, through extensive assembly-motion validation, determined that connector pads, soldering pins, and external mounting areas require stiffeners—stainless steel or rigid PI—with thickness ≥0.1 mm to enhance plug-in and assembly strength; stiffeners are strictly prohibited in dynamic flex zones to avoid restricting flexibility and causing stress-concentration fractures.

Electronic Shift-by-Wire FPC

Key features

Integrated conductive ring design

Combines sensing traces and conductive ring to simplify shift-by-wire structure

Specialized flex-process control

Dynamic and static zones assigned distinct bend radii to prevent copper fatigue fracture

High-precision fine-pitch circuitry

Ensures linear angle-signal output and accurate gear-position recognition

Automotive-grade wide-temperature tolerance

Withstands in-vehicle alternating high/low-temperature operating environments

Irregular multi-branch integrated construction

Matches tight, complex internal packaging space of shift-by-wire assemblies

100% powered electrical testing

Ensures batch consistency and reduces vehicle-installation failure risk
